Website Terms of Use
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of teoq.co.uk (the site), operated by Teoq Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14688399) with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Any services we provide to you (an AI Audit, an automation build, consulting, ongoing support, digital marketing) are governed by a separate written agreement, and that agreement takes priority over these terms if they conflict.
1. Using the site
You may browse the site, read its content, use the forms, book a call and use the website assistant for your own business purposes. You must not misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, introducing malicious code, scraping content at scale, or using it in a way that breaks the law. We may suspend or block access to anyone who does.
2. Information on the site is not advice
The content on the site, including articles, guides, the readiness check and the output of the website assistant, is general information about AI and automation for finance firms. It is not legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or financial advice, and it does not take account of your firm's circumstances. Decisions about what to automate, what tools to use and how to meet your own regulatory obligations remain yours. Where we describe outcomes from other projects, these are examples and not a promise that you will see the same result.
3. The website assistant
The assistant on the site is an automated tool built on a large language model. It answers from information we have given it about our services and may sometimes be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It is not a person, and nothing it says forms a contract or commits us to a price, timescale or outcome. Please do not share client data, financial details, passwords or other confidential information with it. If you want a firm answer, book a call or email us.
4. Booking a call
When you book a call through the site you will receive a confirmation with the time and a joining link. Calls are free, carry no obligation and are not a commitment by either side to work together. You can reschedule or cancel using the links in the confirmation. We may cancel or move a call if we need to and will let you know as early as we can.
5. The readiness check
The readiness check gives an indicative score based only on the answers you give. It is a starting point for a conversation, not an assessment of your firm, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the strength of it.
6. Your content
When you send us information through a form, the assistant or a booking, you confirm you are entitled to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You keep ownership of it. You allow us to use it for the purpose you sent it, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The site and everything on it, including text, design, graphics, diagrams, code and the Teoq name and logo, belong to Teoq Ltd or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use and share links to them. You may not copy, republish or sell any part of the site, or use our name or logo, without our written permission. Names of third-party products mentioned on the site (for example Xero, QuickBooks, Intelliflo or Acturis) belong to their owners; mentioning them does not imply any partnership or endorsement unless we say so.
8. Links to other sites
The site links to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your data.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, the site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or anything on it, including loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. This exclusion applies to the website only; liability for services we deliver is dealt with in the relevant service agreement.
The site is intended for use by businesses. If you use it as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
11. Privacy
How we use personal data collected through the site is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
12. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are between you and Teoq Ltd; no one else has rights under them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to the site.
